Rosa Montez, LCSW
My Approach
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, understood, and supported. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and honest. Together, we'll identify the experiences, beliefs, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck so you can move toward lasting healing.
Who I Help
I specialize in helping growth-oriented adults actively process unresolved childhood and intergenerational trauma, especially when life transitions bring old patterns to the surface using EMDR therapy. Together, we work to reduce triggers, release shame, and shift out of survival mode so you can live more fully in the present.
Experience
After earning my Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California, I've spent more than a decade serving clients throughout Las Vegas in psychiatric hospitals, detention centers, and community mental health agencies. Today, I also serve as a Board-Certified Clinical Supervisor, mentoring future therapists while continuing to provide trauma-informed care for adults seeking meaningful change.
I believe vulnerability is one of our greatest strengths. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where healing feels possible, and I'd be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
